I'm all wound up for tonight's opening of an art show in which I am participating, but on my way out this morning I was able to catch the moon in the sunrise sky over Three Rivers.
Skywatch Friday gives you a glimpse of skies around the world, find links to this week's participants at http://skyley.blogspot.com/.
This enormous oak in the park has dropped all of its leaves. For scale, that's a horse tied up just behind and to the right of the tree. Some maples and elms still have leaves, and of course the various non-native plants decorating the parking lot continue to be baffled as to which season it is.
On the highway yesterday, in traffic, we were passed by -- a horse-drawn Amish buggy! Old order, best in black & white. In the background is a gas (petrol) station -- something the oat-burner gets to skip.
Three Rivers is a small city in the U.S. midwest, halfway between Detroit and Chicago. This blog consists of photos taken in the City of Three Rivers, Michigan, and in the surrounding Three Rivers postal zone area.
