I've noticed that and it's funny. A lovely image.
I love Christmas carols. YOur photo is lovely, the scene along the wall - what is it, a mural? It looks very peaceful.
I couldn't imagine people here singing in local areas except for when we have "Carols by Candlelight", be nice if they did though.

A nice event! It is usually the case that children sing and adults mumble...
A tradition that is sorely lacking here.
... and the kids probably did it with more enthusiasm.
We adults need to remember to let that inner-child have free rein from time to time...
