It is indeed a real treat for everyone who were there. Caroling brings joys and happiness to our hearts.
I can imagine most of the shoppers and business people enjoyed these impromptu concerts, especially if, as you say, they were good!
A tradition totally absent here. I'd enjoy this very much...
