Blue is Back

Wow sunshine coming in the window this morning woke me up - what is that big bright light in the sky?

Despite the sunshine, swimming is discouraged when the water is hard and cars are driving around on it.

Off to the right you can see some ice-fishermen. To see a summertime view from about the same spot, click here: Bluetiful Noon

So glad you have some sun, even if it's just for a short time. Beautiful blue shot there.

What a difference six months makes! I saw this on the portal and expected to see the sign said, "Don't feed the alligators."

"No swimming between signs" is better!

Glad you got some sun and hope it brings some warmth.

That's a very funny picture. I guess in summer it should read 'Do not walk on the ice'.

We had sun for about 10 minutes this afternoon. I barely knew what it was!

I think this sign is one I can obey with a smile. :)

Like someone is actually going to try to swim there now!

(Of course, they have to leave the signs up year 'round, but it looks out of place now!)

Hard to resist but I'm guessing they all grudgingly obey the sign :) After seeing you summer shot, I can't wait for summer!

I guess it is safe but it only takes one crack to make driving to the bottom a nightmare. So I don't think I would be there. And the sign is funny.

Thou shallt have to return and show this when swimming is possible...

This sign could use a seasonal job somewhere else...

I've never seen a frozen lake! The blue sky must be lovely and spring is just around the corner.

Not to mention how cold the water is! I looked at the other picture and it's quite a contrast.
