Skywatch - if you can see it
Today's sky was, well, not there. Taken about 5pm behind the Three Rivers High School football stadium.
I missed something fun yesterday - local grade school children made pottery bowls in their art classes and sold them at a "Soupless Supper" as a fundraiser for the needy. After the Soupless Supper bowls were all sold, soup was served.

Oh wow! All white. Looks chilly but beautiful at the same time. In this weather a hot soup is definitely in order. :)
:) white beauty! i want to put on my thickest clothes looking at this picture :)
Brrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!
The sky matches the ground.
All this makes «Louis» wish there was a steaming pot of homemade soup on the stove...
Is this a b&w photo or was the sky really that white?
The sky is there, but we can't see it. You had a soupless soup with soup. There is something strange in this post...
Your skywatch picture is not the beautiful blue sky with puffy white clouds most come to expect as one blogger tries to outshine the other with sky pics. I like this of the Three Rivers High School football stadium because that is what you and that is where the fun at high school sometimes happens. Besides that it is gray and that is the kind of weather we have been having too. Now, we got snow starting yesterday and it snowed all night and now at 5:00 AM it is also blowing. We got snow so deep that the tops of trees have flat out disappeared under loads of it. The snow will make this a starving time for animals unless they get some help from people. I don't know what the deer will do in the fields but just hope they have some branch tips to browse on.
I answered your skywatch question. I can see it.
Thanks for the visit and comment you made for my Sharp-shinned Hawk.
He is a young up and comer.
I thought only we had skyless days!
a whiteout!
The sky looks rather like white potato soup!
Now I see what you mean by your comment on Cedar Key DP!
Spring is coming, never fear!
Me again...you asked about blogs...well, active blog add up to 7. That's a lucky number, right?
I like that you took a picture of the back of the stadium instead of the seat side. There's a whole essay in there.
As for the sky.
This winter white indifferent sky is what drags me down for six months of every year...
It does look as if there is no sky. It also looks cold. Our sky was certainly here yesterday...dropping snow, sleet and rain.
Sue
The sky is not blue but white! Seems pretty cold here.
Looks exactly like my sky today except that all is wet instead of pristine white.
Oddly, this is a color photograph! I should have desaturated and saved it for the monochrome weekend. Thanks for all the comments on the whiter-than-white world.
Unfortunately I can identify with this sky. We've had many just like this lately. LOL
Well it makes for an interesting sky in shades of white and grey like a cool artsy version of a monotone. And Sky Watch Friday likes to celebrate all the different moods of the sky.
Something so new for me... White looks pure... I don't get to see such scenes in reality...
