Monochrome Icy Snow

This is another one of the kids from yesterday, on ice. She has a need for speed!

I thought the scene was appropriate for monochrome- see gorgeous monochromes by lots of people around the world, just click over to The Monochrome Weekend, presented by Aileni.

It's a fun shot - I mean it makes one happy. I especiallay like that the girl is in the corner - it makes the picture mighty in a way :)

This one is brilliant! I probably wouldn't have guessed if I hadn't seen yesterday's.

I no longer try such things for I have learned that speed kills people my age!

Nice shot, though!

Your photo is perfect for mono and your framing is great. The girl in the corner position really animates this image.

It looks like everyone got out of her way! Nice capture.

Excellent composition, with the subject where she is. And, the contrast of grays and whites in the snow is very nice. Speed and water frozen in time.

Nice blog by the way - how many people live in your community?

You did as I did, included a small person in your monochrome entry and lots of snow and ice. It makes everything seem much greater.
