This mallard has been living downtown for a while. I just "met" him this evening on my way to a movie. Traffic had stopped for him while he walked across the street.
He's adorable! I'm glad that traffic is aware of him. We have had a few duck and geese traffic fatalities around here, so they have put up some signs to try and get people to slow down.
Three Rivers is a small city in the U.S. midwest, halfway between Detroit and Chicago. This blog consists of photos taken in the City of Three Rivers, Michigan, and in the surrounding Three Rivers postal zone area. Maybe he had a little shopping to do!

That is so funny! What in the world is he doing "downtown"?
Jacob - he was telling the driver of the SUV to get quacking....
He's got a job there? Tired of commuting?
Oh, Louis! Only a mad cow would come up with something like that. You could be right though.
But, sadly, no. I asked the duck what he thought about your comment and he stood erect and fairly shouted, "The man's a quackpot!"
and he accuses both Louis and Jacob of practicing quackery without a license!
Jacob - of that, there is no doubt! (Thus saith «Louis'» Editor...)
I'm not sure why I'm laughing, but I am! :)
