Cuisine

Offered for dinner on Monday and Saturday this week at the Three Rivers American Legion Hall, gizzards and burgers. A local delicacy, I presume. I'm imagining it all breaded and deep fried. I'll check my calendar - oh sorry, I'm busy elsewhere those nights.

Life is intruding into my CityDailyPhoto time! I'll try to do better.

I checked my schedule, too. It says that I cannot eat gizzards on either Mondays or Saturdays. Oh darn!

I think I'll stick to good ole Aussie fish'n'chips.

And I try to stay away from deep fried stuff but the occasional burger certainly fits nicely into my schedule.

No glizzard, thanks. Any other (occasional) deep fried thing welcome!

now if it were chicken livers, I'd be there! Especially if fixed the Greek way, olive oil, garlic, oregano, and red wine, so very yummy.
Glad you are pleased that the annoying thing at the bottom of day by day is gone.

Yes! «Louis» is with you in taking a pass on the gizzards!

There is a local fried chicken place here that is always advertising gizzards! My grandmother used to fry them and I would eat them when I was a kid. Not too interested in them now!

1$? Where does the meat come from?

When gizzards come with my chicken, I cook them for the dog. She loves them.

That could easily make a Vegan out of me.
