Snow this morning, on the flowers. The native plants - like these violets - are a more sure sign of spring than the showy non-natives; the indigenous plants seem to "know" more about the weather and don't leaf out or flower too early.
But sometimes even they guess wrong!

Hopefully that will be the last of it!
Beautiful and nice !!
It makes for a pretty picture, but I'm sure you are tired of snow!
Lovely photo. Don't you hate it the way sunny weather makes you to think the cold is gone forever? Then bam, it's cold again. Maybe it's just me. BTW rain is predicted here for Sunday. Hence the mini-rant.
Yes, that does happen...
Do you know if there's someone (or something--a book, etc.) who could help me with a listing of plants native to the TR area? I'd like to start reviving the property at Huss School with natives, but I need a good resource to begin seeking plant donations. Thanks!

The weather has been crazy over here, too. I still can't decide if spring has started or not ;)
