Spring Thing - 1

Despite some remaining snow, the owner of this mailbox on Portage Ave. decided to get a jump on spring with plastic flowers.

Makes me think it is a memorial.... not so appealing to me. Great photo still!

So glad you are back!
This reminds me of the most decorated, plasticly that is, piece of ground I have ever seen: the small cemetery in Armstrong Creek, Wisconsin, where miniature landscapes surrounded every headstone.
The best inscription on a tombstone is also there: "I told you I was sick."

Hooray, you're back! They're just reminding spring what it should look like when it finally comes.

Welcome back! Hope all is well and it is nice to see that spring is springing up in your area.

Cash is good but sometimes it is better to use plastic. Wait, that's not what you're talking about.

Cute post at any rate! ;-)

Nothing signals the end of winter like plastic flowers.

Wonderful idea to brighten the place up! I'm sure the mailman appreciates it ;D

Is there a pink flamingo in the yard to accompany the plastic flowers?
