Snow removal is a huge problem with these big storms. And it's all got to go somewhere...maybe there are large, empty spaces outside of town where they are dumping the snow?
When I was a kid I used to spot trucks driving away with collected snow to dump it elsewhere. This week, for the first time in many years, I made the same observation way out in Suburbia. Highly unusual these days.
I saw on the news this morning that they are building a snow mountain in Washington DC! Our weatherman here is actually predicting a few flakes for us tomorrow if you can believe that. I'll believe it when I see it!
I think we could handle this snow. I haven't been back to see how much snow they have gathered at that field but I talked to someone who had been there today, and she was very impressed with all that snow.
Three Rivers is a small city in the U.S. midwest, halfway between Detroit and Chicago. This blog consists of photos taken in the City of Three Rivers, Michigan, and in the surrounding Three Rivers postal zone area. Snow everywhere. Lots of it to deal with down here as well. We got piles like that at the end of our driveway.
And a lot of water when spring come...

I think that big cat can handle the job! It's more than my little snowblower could do!
it is being dumped on the edge of the East Parking lot! The cat was following me as I parked for my shift at World Fare.
«Louis» has a news flash for you: they are going to dump all that snow in your driveway!
maybe it can all be dumped at a place for harvesting water!
